Growing our way forward.

Joe Spears' plan in three pictures

West Vancouver homeowners are facing a projected 7% municipal tax increase in 2027. Joe Spears believes the answer is not to shrink the community to fit the budget. It is to grow the budget to fit the community.

Growing our way forward.

The first graphic shows how. West Vancouver sits next to one of the busiest port regions in the country. Joe's ocean economy turns that location into new revenue for the district. That revenue pays for what residents want, including roads, seniors' housing and parks, without raising their taxes. He will build it by working with business, not by cutting what residents rely on.

02

Cutting or earning.

The second graphic shows the choice in this election. One rival promises to cut the increase from 7% to 3%. But the costs behind that increase remain. Joe offers a different path: bring new money in. That is a clear choice between cutting and earning.

03

Cuts shrink. Growth builds.

The third graphic shows why earning is the only answer that lasts. Cutting works for a year or two, but the same choice returns every year with less left to trim. Roads wait. Services shrink. New revenue does the opposite. It grows over time and keeps working year after year.

Cuts can ease next year's bill. Growth can change the next ten years.

On October 17, vote for growth. Vote Joe Spears.
